4 J&K footballers find berth in Kolkata Clubs

Sribagar, Four promising football players from the State, including two from Jammu, have been selected by the prominent Kolkata (West Bengal) based Clubs considering their performance in the Indian League and other National level competitions held in the recent past. Important to mention here that all these promising footballers are presently associated with top professional club of the state, Lonestar Kashmir Football Club (KFC) Srinagar and played the I-League 2nd Division competition.Selected footballers are Arun Nangial and Vinay Kumar from Jammu while Akif Javed Reshi of Anantnag and Ifham Tariq of Solina have been selected from Kashmir. While Arun remained associated with Punjab based club, JCT and upcoming local club of Jammu, Param Football Club, Vinay was part of the J&K Police team before he joined professional side of Lonestar KFC.  As per the details provided by the J&K Football Association (JKFA), three players, Arun Nangial, Akif Javed Reshi and Ifham Tariq have been selected by the Mohammad Sports Club Kolkata while Vinay Kumar has entered into a contract with Toligunj Football Club, Kolkata for the current year.
