KG News Desk
Srinagar, June 16: United Jihad Council, an amalgam of various militant outfits, on Thursday claimed that Bemina youth was killed in custody. The UJC also claimed that India has restarted “catch and kill” policy in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued here, UJC’s secretary general and chief of Tehreek-e-Mujahideen Sheikh Jameel-ur-Rehman has said that government has announced war against innocent people and said that their “genocide” will have dangerous consequences.
“The ailing Batamaloo (Bemina) youth Sheikh Tanveer Sultan was killed in custody. His brother attained martyrdom being the divisional commander of Tehreek-e-Mujahideen and one of his uncles Abdul Rehma Shigan was also martyred,” said Rehman and paid tributes to the entire family for loyalty to ongoing freedom struggle.
