BJP hails no mercy towards terrorists in J&K, steps taken to restore normalcy

NEW DELHI, The BJP National Executive (NE) today adopted a political resolution which lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Government for showing no mercy to terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir but at the same time ensuring that common man didn’t suffer, highlighting terrorism and exposing Pakistan globally (for the neighbour’s support to terror).
The political resolution, moved by BJP national general secretary Bhupinder Yadav and seconded by Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi at the National Executive in the Union capital today, referred to terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and steps taken by the Centre to restore peace and normalcy in the Kashmir valley.
“The Centre has performed remarkable balancing act by showing no mercy to terrorists and simultaneously displaying sensitivity towards the common man, being used and exploited by the terrorists, by ensuring that they don’t suffer,” the resolution adopted at the National Executive, which was attended among others by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah, said.
It lauded the success achieved by the Government in its action against terrorists and separatists.
The political resolution said Narendra Modi Government has achieved major success in highlighting terrorism, being fanned by Pakistan, across the world.
“This has exposed Pakistan globally,” it added.
The resolution hailed Modi for handling Doklam issue with China successfully.
Troops of India and China had withdrawn simultaneously from Doklam at tri-junction between India, China and Bhutan in Sikkim after about three month standoff.
