A resident of Pathan, a village located almost 10 kms from Litter Rakh, Bhat was a BJP activist and off late had been given some party position too.
Police sources said they also received information that a dead body was lying in Rakh Litter. It took police its own time to reach the village during late hours and then it took more time in identifying him.
