CAPD Director inspects Letpora godown, reviews stockSrinagar, April, 9 (GNS): CAPD Director Mushtaq Ahmad Shah on Saturday inspected Letpora godown in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports reaching news agency GNS said during the visit, Shah reviewed availability of supply of food grains and other essential commodities to the people.
He was informed by the concerned officials that adequate supplies were available at the godown, they said.
Shah is learnt to have directed the officials to ensure timely supply of the food grains and other essential commodities so as to ensure that public does not face any problems.
Meanwhile, when contacted, Shah confirmed that he passed the direction for hassle-free supplies to public from the godown.
Asked about scarcity of ration at Muqam-e-Shah Wali area of Kupwara district, Shah said that he has passed instructions to the concerned officials to ensure adequate supplies to the area.
The residents had told news agency GNS that from two months the CAPD is supplying insufficient ration to their area and as a result dozens of families don’t get ration.
