Srinagar 03 June 2016. Chinar Corps Commander, Lt Gen Satish Dua, today paid visit to the Special National Integration Camp of NCC Directorate (J&K) at JAK LI Regimental Centre, Rangreth, Srinagar. Over 400 NCC Cadets and NCC Officers representing all states and union territories are participating in the national integration camp which was commenced on 15 May 2016 and conclude on 04 June 2016.

Smartly turned out NCC contingent comprising of boy and girl cadets from various states put up an impressive show in presenting Guard of Honour to the Chinar Corps Commander. Later the General Officer and a large number of Army dignitaries witnessed a cultural programme based on the rich cultural heritage of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh regions, presented by the NCC Cadets on the occasion. The General Officer while addressing the cadets emphasized the need to conduct such camps for maintaining communal harmony and brotherhood and strengthening national integration, describing these as pre-requisites for the country’s growth and stability. He further lauded the significant contribution being made by the NCC in grooming the youth of our country. The general officer observed that the strength of NCC has grown over the years, but considering the strength of the youth particularly in J&K, more boys and girls needed to be brought under the ambit of the organization. Lt Gen Satish Dua complimented the cadets for their impressive drill and cultural programme. He brought out that children must remember three golden rules to success; Be True, Dream Big, and Positive Attitude and wished them great success, happens and luck in all their future endeavors.
