CM’s Public Outreach: Mehbooba Mufti reaches Kulgam, interacts with several delegations

Srinagar, Continuing with her public outreach programme, the Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday drove to the southern Kashmir’s Kulgam district to interact with the people and redress their grievances.

During her visit, the chief minister took stock of the facilities and also visited various places in the town where developmental activities are going on and asked for pacing them up.

The chief minister interacted with several delegations from various parts of the district who apprised the CM about their issues. “The chief minister on the spot ordered redressal of the grievances and directed the concerned officials to prioritise the redressal of their issues,” sources accompanying the chief minister said. The deputations have hailed CM’s on the spot directions.

The sources said that the chief minister so far me 12 delegations and is scheduled to meet 56 delegations in total.

Besides, the chief minister will spend the night in the district, they said. The chief minister is accompanied by the senior officials of the administration, advisor Amitabh Mattoo and local lawmakers.The public outreach programme launched by the Chief Minister has evoked a good response from the public who come up with their problems for an on the spot redressal. Started from Pulwama, these public outreach programmes were conducted by the Chief Minister at Kupwara, Budgam, Ramban, Baramulla and Kathua during which hundreds of people apprised her about their problems and difficulties.
