Geelani to return Valley on Wednesday: Hurriyat (G)

Srinagar, April 6: Chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani will return back to valley Wednesday April 6 after staying two months in Delhi for medical treatment. Geelani is recovering gradually but still feeling weakness.
He went to Delhi on 6 February for medical checkup then was admitted at MAX hospital Delhi on 10th March when he complained about severe chest pain and at first instance there were apprehensions it might be the heart stroke. But after doctors complete examination there was no such case. Moreover, Geelani will arrive Srinagar airport at 1 pm boarded in indigo airlines then after he scheduled to visit office/residence Hyderpora Srinagar as doctors advised him for complete rest.
Meanwhile, in a statement issued Hurriyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akber said Geelani has been invited at OIC by Secretary General which is supposed to be held at Istanbul Turkey. He said although we have received an invitation letter from the OIC but “we informed OIC organizers that due to non availability of travel documents Geelani won’t be able to attend the said Conference.” Ayaz Akber said last year administration issued passport to the Geelani for nine months only and that too expired now.
