Government transfers several top officers

The government on Wednesday ordered transfer and posting of several IAS and KAS officers.
According to an order, Khurshid Ahmad, commissioner secretary, general administration department, shall hold the charge of the post of director general, J&K institute of management, public administration and rural development, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.Hemant Kumar Sharma, commissioner secretary, transport department, shall hold the charge of the post of administrative secretary, science and technology department, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Pawan Kumar, chief executive officer, tourism development authority Kishtwar, is transferred and posted as additional deputy commissioner Doda, against an available vacancy.
Shafiq Ahmad, under orders of transfer as programme officer ICDS project Kishtwar, is posted as general manager, DIC, Rajouri, against an available vacancy.Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, sub-divisional magistrate, Sanku, shall hold the charge of the post of chief executive officer, tourism development authority, Zanskar, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Musheer Ahmad, member, J&K services selection board, shall hold the charge of the post of secretary, J&K services selection board, in addition to his own duties, till Tassaduq Hussain Mir, remains on leave.
Nazir Ahmad Mir, under orders of transfer as programme officer, ICDS project Kupwara, is posted as joint director, food, civil supplies and consumer affairs, Kashmir, against an available vacancy.
Hakim Muzaffar, under orders of transfer as sub-divisional magistrate, Lolab, is posted as deputy secretary to the government, agriculture production department.Muhammad Assadullah Rather, chief executive officer, tourism development authority, Lolab-Bungus-Drangyari, shall hold the charge of the post of sub-divisional magistrate, Lolab, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Meanwhile, the government ordered that Surinder Gupta, IGP police headquarters, shall hold the post of IGP CID J&K till Abdul Ghani Mir remains on leave.Mir is going on leave from Thursday to visit Saudi Arabia for performing ‘Umrah’.
