House where Hizb’s Zakir recorded videos identified in south Kashmir: Police

Srinagar, Police in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday said that they have identified the house where Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander Zakir Rashid Bhat would record his videos before posting them on social media networks.
SP Awantipora, M Zahid said they have identified room and things that appeared in Zakir’s videos and photos.
“This may be the place where he made videos against the security forces,” he told ANI news agency.
Giving details, a police spokesman in Srinagar said that Awantipora police and 42 RR conducted an operation in Batipora Dadsara in Pulwama district.
“During the operation  house belonging to Mudasir Ahmed Gunoo son in law of late Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Mir was searched where forces found material and articles  used by militants. During preliminary investigation It was also established that HM militant Zakir @ Mosa used to record  videos in one of the room of the said house. Some clothes and other material used by  Zakir@ Mosa in different videos and photographs were also recovered,” he said.
The spokesman added that a manhunt has been launched for the absconding owner of the house.
“A case FIR number 190 under different sections of RPC stands registered. Further Investigation is going on,” he said.
