Srinagar, A delegation of Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir on Monday visited Kulgam and Islamabad and paid ‘homage’ to those who were killed in Frisal gunfight.
A statement of JeI said that the delegation visited the families of Mudasir Ahmad Tantray of Redwani Bala, Wakeel Ahmad Thokar of Harigam Kulgam, Farooq Ahmad Dar of Arra Mehmandpora Kulgam, Mohammad Younis Lone of Hawoora Mishipora, Ashiq Ahmad Reshi of Nagbal Kulgam and Mushtaq Ahmad Itoo of Hatigam Srigufwara and expressed sympathy and solidarity on behalf of Jama’at.
“On the occasion, delegation showered glowing tributes and deliberated upon the philosophy of Shahadat on account of Quran & Sunnah and threw light on the historical context of Kashmir.”
“Our youth render countless and precious sacrifice for the freedom of their nation and today we pledge we will safeguard these sacrifices in every respect’, delegation said while speaking different public meetings. They said it is unfortunate world community paying no heed towards our suppressed voice and sacrifices rendered by your budding youth. Besides international level, India itself shows its arrogant and stubborn approach against hapless and unarmed people of Kashmir in order to quell the sentiment of Kashmiri people,” the statement said.
They said, “Until New Delhi addressed Kashmir issue as per the UNSC resolutions, peace in the region is a distant dream. It is New-Delhi’s arrogant and mighty approach which is big halt in the resolution of long standing Kashmir dispute.”
