Leh-Srinagar highway closes for six months

Srinagar, The Srinagar Jammu highway is open for vehicular traffic despite heavy snowfall at many places of the highway.

There was about three to four inches of snow at Jawahar tunnel and Banihal on the 300-km-long Srinagar-Jammu highway. However, the highway was through and vehicles were plying from both sides.
