LeT extends support to Thursday shutdown call

Srinagar, May 25 (GNS): Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba on Wednesday extended the support to the shutdown call given by Hurriyat factions and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation against the proposal of separate Pandit townships and Sainik Colony.
In a statement issued to Srinagar based news agency GNS, the LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi said the establishment of Sainik Colony is “a conspiracy to end the freedom struggle of Kashmiris”. “India wants to change the demography of Kashmir. But we will never allow it to happen,” he said.
The LeT spokesman said Kashmiri people are ready to offer sacrifices but won’t stop their fight for freedom. He urged India to resolve the issue of Kashmir by implementing UN Resolutions. “Or else this issue will reach upto Delhi,” the Lashkar spokesman warned. (GNS)
