Mobile burglary theft cases solved, 2 held, stolen items worth lacs recovered

Srinagar, April 28 (GNS):  Police on Thursday said it have cracked a theft case by arresting two burglars and has recovered stolen items worth lacs on their instance.

“On March 15, 2016 the owner of Friends Mobile Care Shop Rajpora Chowk reported in Police Station Pulwama that unknown thieves have intruded into his shop and decamped with the mobile phones along with a laptop”, a police official told news agency GNS.

Accordingly an FIR under 78/2016 under sections  457, 380 RPC was registered and an investigating team was constituted under the supervision of SP Pulwama, the official said.

IMG-20160428-WA0025“The investigation team acted swiftly and apprehended two burglars identified as Abrar Ahmad Yatoo son Ghulam Nabi Yatoo resident of Sonachoke Rajpora and Zeeshan Farooq Chat son of Farooq Ahmad resident of Chatpora”, he said.

The arrest of these two burglars led to the recovery of stolen mobile phones and a Lap Top worth lacs of rupees. Further investigation in this regard is going on and more recoveries and arrests are expected, the official added.(GNS)
