Pakistan army beheads soldier at LoC, India retaliates, deploys troops

New Delhi, In a cowardly act, Pakistan army backed terrorists on Tuesday killed three Indian soldiers in Macchil sector and beheaded one of them.

Agitated over the killings and mutilation of own troops, Army Vice Chief Lt Gen Bipin Rawat briefed defence minister Manohar Parrikar and vowed to retaliate strongly.

The encounter between the terrorists and the Indian troops started when at 10 am the Rashtriya Rifles battalion deployed along the Line of Control in the Macchil sector in Jammu and Kashmir was alerted that Pakistan army-backed terrorists would try to infiltrate.

Soon after, a patrol of around 15 soldiers marched towards the specific suspected area of infiltration for laying an ambush. The terrorists were already hiding there under cover and started firing at the troops.
