Pakistani propaganda campaign designed to attract Kashmir youth towards terrorism

Srinagar,Pakistan has, of late, launched one more spell of propaganda campaign designed to attract Kashmir youth towards the path of terrorism by spread of misinformation. A recent write up by Pakistani minister Shireen Mazari that the so-called “Kashmir conflict has once again come centre stage in the aftermath of the continuing violence being perpetrated by the Indian Occupying security forces against unarmed Kashmiris” is a link in that direction.
She has also quoted the former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein’s fallacious and irresponsible document on the situation of human rights in Kashmir in her write up which is comical. The fallacious and politically motivated report, which had glaring inconsistencies and suffered from errors of omission and commission is being repeatedly used by Pakistan to target India. It is surprising that the Indian authorities are not countering this blatant misinformation with facts.
The reality in Kashmir is that dreaded terrorist outfits operating from Pakistani soil and fully supported, aided and abated by the ISI and Pakistan army in Jammu and Kashmir are the reason for the miseries and sufferings of the people of the Himalayan state. It is a reality that studios have been set up in Pakistan under a well-planned strategy to manage propaganda on social media to mislead the people of Kashmir.
Islamabad is also trying to divert attention from the inhuman excesses committed on the people of Gilgit, Baltistan and Baluchistan, the genocide of freedom fighters in Baluchistan and Sindh, the mass graves of women and children in these areas, the forcible abduction of leaders who question the army excesses and the illegal occupation of areas by Islamabad, by raking up so-called Kashmir issue.
There is no doubt that civilian killings are happening in Kashmir, but whole world knows it that these are being carried out by Pakistan sponsored terrorists. If there is a need to establish a commission of inquiry to conduct a comprehensive independent international investigation into allegations of human rights violations in Kashmir, as recommended by Ms Mazari, it should be done to unearth the mask Pakistan has been wearing. Right from 1947 and especially from 1989, Pakistan has been creating trouble in Jammu and Kashmir by sending terrorists to the state.
India is a democratic country and has full respect for the human rights, dignity and well-being of its all citizens, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, religion and region. It is necessary to expose the Pakistani design behind this propaganda campaign. Pakistan is now realising that it will not be able to sustain terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir from across the border for long. Successful infiltration is decreasing by the day and the number of foreign terrorists operating on the soil of Jammu and Kashmir is fast dwindling. That day is not far when Jammu and Kashmir will be terror free and Pakistani nefarious designs will be exposed further.
