Review travel advisories on JK: Dy CM tells British envoy
SRINAGAR, MAY 23: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today asked the British Deputy High Commissioner to review the travel advisories on J&K, as it would go a long way in ensuring the flow of foreign tourists to the state.
The Deputy Chief Minister was interacting with the British Deputy High Commissioner, Dr Alexander Evans who called on the former here today.
Dr Singh said tourism being the mainstay of the state economy, would get a big fillip if the advisories are lifted as more tourists from Europe and other continents would be coming to this part of country, which would result in increase of tourism inflow and tourist related activities.
The Deputy Chief Minister also discussed with the British envoy the developmental and political scenario of the state and the region.
