SOG detained Burma national in South Kashmir

Srinagar, May 5 (GNS): Police on Thursday arrested a Burmese national on suspected grounds at Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Official sources told news agency GNS that Special Operation Group (SOG) of police picked up an Imam identified as Mohammad Noman son of Mohammad Imad, a resident of Bagroo of Mandoo district in Burma during a raid at Behtnoor village of Tral.

Station House Officer (SHO), Tral Ravinder Pal while confirming the incident told GNS that the he has been picked up as he is a foreigner.

“Noman, recently arrived here in Tral area from Burma and he is being questioned currently”, he said. (GNS)
