Soldier injured in Pulwama grenade attack; says police
Pulwama, May 26 (GNS): An army soldier sustained splinter injuries after suspected militants hurled a grenade towards an army camp in Pulwama district of south Kashmir on Thursday evening.
A police officer told GNS that at around 9:25 pm, the suspected militants hurled the grenade towards 50 RR camp near Railway Track in Kakpora.
“In the blast, an army soldier Devinder sustained injuries and has been hospitalized. Some window panes of the building also got damaged during the incident,” he said.
Meanwhile, army has launched searches in the area to nab the attackers. (GNS)
