Syed Mushtaq Trophy T20: Delhi outplay J&K, Parvez led team tastes 3rd defeat


The below par batting followed by dismal bowling performance led to Jammu and Kashmir team suffering third consecutive T20 defeat at the hands of Delhi in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 trophy match at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium New Delhi on Friday.
J&K batting first were kept to below par total of 100 runs for the loss of nine wickets in allotted 20 overs. In reply Delhi made quick work of the target, achieving it in 11.3 overs for the loss of only two wickets, thanks to superb knock played by Rishabh Pant.Earlier put into bat first, J&K got off to worst possible start as they lost both their openers Ahmad Banday and Jatin Wadhwan with score on zero .
Soon Ian Dev became third wicket to fall in inning with J&K score on 15.Skipper Parvez Rasool who made 37 off 26, and Pranav Gupta, the No. 3 batsman, put on a partnership of 49 for the fourth wicket.
However once that partnership was broken another procession started with ultimately J&K making it to 100 runs for the loss of nine wickets in allotted overs.
