UN felicious report on Kashmir

Srinagar, The latest UN report on human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir is nothing but untrue, misleading, motivated and a bundle of lies. The UN body asking India to “respect the self-determination of the people of Kashmir” is intrusion into the internal affairs of a sovereign country.
It seems the UN human rights body has been misled by some vested interests regarding the ground realties in Jammu and Kashmir. There is no doubt that civilian killings are happening in Kashmir, but these are being carried out by Pakistan sponsored terrorists.
It is true that in the part of Jammu and Kashmir occupied by Pakistan a range of human rights abuses are being carried out by Pakistani establishment. The restrictions on freedom of expression and assembly make it difficult to get information about conditions in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
It seems the UN body just to balance the report has blamed India too for carrying out alleged human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir. Indian army is a professional army which has been dealing with Pakistan sponsored terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir for the last nearly 30-years.
If and when any allegation of human rights violation came to fore against Indian army personnel, the same was investigated properly and accused were punished according to law. But the majority of the cases of alleged rights violations against Indian army proved to be fabricated ones.
There is a democratically elected government in place in Jammu and Kashmir and it has respected the aspirations of the Kashmiri people through a credible electoral process while in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, the administration is virtually run by Pakistan army.
The UN report violates India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The entire state of Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India. Pakistan is in illegal and forcible occupation of a part of the Indian state through aggression.
